সিডনিনিউজ ডেস্কঃ- চীনের উহান প্রদেশ থেকে ৩৬১ জন বাংলাদেশিকে ফিরিয়ে আনছে সরকার। দেশে ফিরিয়ে এনে তাদের আশকোনা হজ ক্যাম্পে ১৪ দিনের জন্য কোয়ারেন্টাইন করে রাখা হবে। এ সময়ের মধ্যে তাদের সঙ্গে পরিবারসহ কেউই দেখা করতে পারবে না।
শুক্রবার (৩১ জানুয়ারি) হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে সংশ্লিষ্টদের সঙ্গে এক বৈঠক শেষে সাংবাদিকদের এসব কথা জানান স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণমন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেক স্বপন।
মন্ত্রী বলেন, চীনে প্রায় ৫ হাজারেরও বেশি মানুষজন করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে প্রায় ১৭০ জনেরও বেশি মানুষ মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে। এছাড়া ১৭টি দেশে এ রোগটি ছড়িয়ে গেছে। তবে বাংলাদেশে এ রোগের কোনো প্রভাব নেই। কুর্মিটোলা জেনারেল হাসপাতালের সন্দেহজনক একজন ভর্তি রয়েছে। পরীক্ষা-নিরীক্ষা চলছে, সেটা শেষ হলেই বোঝা যাবে।

চিকিৎসকরা জানিয়েছেন, করোনায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে প্রথম যে দুইজন রোগী মারা গিয়েছিলেন তারা আপাত দৃষ্টিতে সুস্থ ছিলেন। তবে তাদের দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ধূমপানের অভ্যাস থাকায় ফুসফুসের কার্যক্রম অনেকটা দুর্বল হয়ে পড়ে। হাসপাতালে আসার পরে প্রথমে যিনি মারা যান, তিনি ৬১ বছর বয়সী এক ব্যক্তি। গুরুতর নিউমোনিয়ায় ভুগছিলেন তিনি। তার তীব্র শ্বাসকষ্ট হয়েছিল, এর অর্থ নিজের দেহকে বাঁচিয়ে রাখার জন্য তার ফুসফুস, অন্যান্য অঙ্গে পর্যাপ্ত অক্সিজেন সরবরাহ করতে পারছিল না। একটি ভেন্টিলেটর লাগানো সত্ত্বেও তার ফুসফুস অকেজো হয়ে পড়ে ও হৃৎস্পন্দন বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হওয়ার ১১ দিনের মাথায় মারা যান তিনি।
পরিবার কল্যাণমন্ত্রী বলেন, চীনের উহান প্রদেশ থেকে প্রায় ৩৬১ জন বাংলাদেশে ফিরে আসার জন্য আবেদন জানিয়েছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নির্দেশে তাদের অতি দ্রুত দেশে ফিরিয়ে আনার ব্যবস্থা আমরা করেছি। এখানে যারা ফেরত আসছে আমাদের জানামতে তারা কেউই করোনা ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত নয়। তারপরও তারা পর্যবেক্ষণে থাকবেন। তাদের প্রথমে আশকোনার হজ ক্যাম্পে রাখা হবে। সেখানে তারা ১৪ দিন পর্যবেক্ষণে থাকবে। এসময় তারা পরিবারের সদস্যসহ কারো সঙ্গে দেখা করতে পারবে না। পরিবারের সদস্যদের কাছে আমরা নিয়মিত খবরা-খবর পৌঁছে দেব।
শুক্রবার বিকেল পাঁচটায় বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি বিশেষ ফ্লাইট (ডিজি-৭০০১) উহানে থেকে বাংলাদেশিদের ফেরত আনতে যাবে উল্লেখ করে তিনি বলেন, বিকেল পাঁচটায় আমাদের বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি ফ্লাইট চীনের উদ্দেশ্যে যাবে। আনুমানিক রাত দুইটার মধ্যে তাদের নিয়ে বাংলাদেশে এ ফ্লাইটটি অবতরণ করবে। এই বিমানেও ৫ জন চিকিৎসক থাকবে যারা সম্পূর্ণরূপে প্রটেক্টেড থাকবে। এছাড়া অ্যাম্বুলেন্সের সব সুযোগ-সুবিধাও থাকবে ওই বিমানে। ৩৬১ জনকেও প্রোটেক্টেড অবস্থায় বাংলাদেশে নিয়ে আসা হবে। এমনকি হজ ক্যাম্পে তাদের আলাদাভাবে নিয়ে রাখা হবে। হজ ক্যাম্পে ১৪ দিন রাখা অবস্থায় যদি কেউ অসুস্থ হয় তাহলে চিকিৎসার জন্য সম্মিলিত সামরিক হাসপাতাল, কুর্মিটোলা জেনারেল হাসপাতাল ও কুয়েত-বাংলাদেশ মৈত্রী হাসপাতালের কোয়ারেন্টাইন ওয়ার্ড প্রস্তুত রাখা হয়েছে। নিরাপত্তা দেওয়ার জন্য পুলিশসহ অন্যান্য নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী সর্বদা মোতায়েন থাকবে।
পর্যবেক্ষণের ১৪ দিনের মধ্যে আত্মীয়-স্বজনদের এসে দেখা করতে না চাওয়ার অনুরোধ জানিয়ে মন্ত্রী বলেন, বিদেশ ফেরত দেখার জন্য আত্মীয়-স্বজনরা ব্যাকুল হবে সেটাই স্বাভাবিক। আমি অনুরোধ করবো কেউ তাদের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে চাইবেন না, তারা কেউ কারো সঙ্গে দেখা করতে পারবেন না।
