‘মুজিববর্ষে ভারতের প্রতিনিধি বাদ দেয়ার চিন্তাও করা যায় না’

সাঞ্জনা চৌধুরী – নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতাঃ- সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতুমন্ত্রী ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেছেন, মুক্তিযুদ্ধের প্রধান সাহায্যকারী ও সবচেয়ে বড় মিত্র দেশ ভারত। বাংলাদেশের জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের জন্মশতবার্ষিকী উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠানে ভারতের প্রতিনিধিত্বকে আমরা বাদ দেবো-এটাতো চিন্তাও করা যায় না।
বৃহস্পতিবার (২৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি) সচিবালয়ে সড়ক পরিবহন ও সেতু মন্ত্রণালয়ের সম্মেলনে কক্ষে সমসাময়িক ইস্যুতে ডাকা সংবাদ সম্মেলনে সাংবাদিকদের এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে তিনি এ কথা বলেন।
ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, মুক্তিযুদ্ধের প্রধান সাহায্যকারী ও মিত্র দেশ হিসেবে ভারতে মুজিববর্ষে আমন্ত্রণ করেছি। তাদের দেশের অভ্যন্তরের কোনো বিষয়ে যে সংঘাত, সংঘর্ষ, রাজনৈতিক বিরোধ- এটা চিন্তা করে তো আমরা তাদের আমন্ত্রণ জানাইনি।
‘আর তাদের অভ্যন্তরীণ সংঘাতে আমাদের এখানে কোনো বিরোধ- প্রতিক্রিয়া হলে এ বিষয়ে আমরা ভারত সরকারের সঙ্গে আলাপ আলোচনা করেই সমাধান করতে পারি। কিন্তু এ রকম একটা অনুষ্ঠানে সবচেয়ে বড় মিত্র দেশ ভারত এবং স্বাধীনতার যুদ্ধে সহযোগিতাকারী প্রধান দেশ হিসেবে সে দেশের প্রতিনিধিত্বকে আমরা বাদ দেবো- এটাতো চিন্তাও করা যায় না।’
মুজিববর্ষে ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর নরেন্দ্র মোদীকে আমন্ত্রণ জানানো নিয়ে সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে ব্যাপক সমালোচনা হচ্ছে। এমনকি তাকে না আনার জন্য ক্যাম্পেইনও হচ্ছে। এ বিষয়ে প্রশ্ন করা হলে আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক বলেন, আমাদের দেশেও রাজনীতিতে বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে ভিন্নমত রয়েছে। এ নিয়ে সরকার আর বিরোধী দলের মধ্যে সম্পর্কটা সুখকর নয়।
‘কিন্তু সেটা তো অন্যদেশের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কের ক্ষেত্রে কোনো প্রকার প্রতিক্রিয়া বা প্রভাব আসার কথা নয়। মুজিববর্ষ বাংলাদেশের জাতির জনকের জন্মশতবার্ষিকী উদযাপনের বিষয়। অনেক আগে থেকেই প্রস্তুতি শুরু করেছি। ভারতকে আমন্ত্রণ জানানোর মূল কারণ-তারা আমাদের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় সহযোগিতা করেছে। আমাদের শরণার্থীদের সাহায্য করেছে। ভারতই আমাদের অস্ত্র ও ট্রেনিংয়ের ব্যবস্থা করেছে। সর্বোপরি মিত্রবাহিনী ও মুক্তিবাহিনীর যৌথ কমান্ডে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের শেষ অংশে আমরা বিজয় ছিনিয়ে এনে ছিলাম। এখানে আমাদের রক্তের সঙ্গে ভারতের রক্ত মিশে আছে। কাজেই ভারতকে এই মুজিববর্ষের অনুষ্ঠানে আমন্ত্রণ না জানানো তো কৃতঘ্নতার পরিচয়। পাশাপাশি অসম্পূর্ণ একটা বিষয় হিসেবে থেকে যায়।
দিল্লিতে চলা দাঙ্গা সংক্রান্ত এক প্রশ্নের জবাবে ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, যেটা আজ দিল্লিতে ঘটছে সেটা তাদের (ভারত) অভ্যন্তরীণ বিষয়। এ নিয়ে আমরা কেন অযথা নাক গলাতে যাবো। তাদের ইন্টারনাল সমস্যার সমাধান তারাই খুঁজে নেবে।
