স্থানীয়রা জানান, তৃপ্তি রায় দীর্ঘ দিন ধরে বোরহানউদ্দিন উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের সিনিয়র স্টাফ নার্স হিসেবে কাজ করছেন। যার কারণে সরকারি ওই প্রতিষ্ঠানটির সকলের সাথে তার সুসর্ম্পক তৈরি হয়।
এই সুবাদে তিনি বিভিন্ন সময় হাসপাতাল থেকে অবৈধভাবে ঔষধ বাড়ি নিয়ে যেতেন। একই ভাবে রোববার হাসপাতালের বহির্বিভাগের ঔষধ সরবরাহ কেন্দ্র থেকে ৪৮ পাতা ওষুধ নিয়ে তিনি বাড়ি যাচ্ছিলেন, এ সময় পথে স্থানীয়রা তাকে ধরে ফেলে।
পরে তাকে এত ওষুধ কোথায় ও কেন নিয়ে যাচ্ছে প্রশ্ন করলে কোনো উত্তর না দিয়ে দ্রুত আবার হাসপাতালে চলে যান।
পরে স্থানীয়রা পিছু পিছু হাসপাতালের ওই কক্ষে ছুটে যান, এ সময় স্থানীয়রা তার হাতে থাকা বক্স ও ইউনিফর্মের পকেট থেকে বিভিন্ন ধরনের ৪৮ পাতা ওষুধ বের করে।
সোমবার সকালে সরেজমিন পরিদর্শনে গিয়ে আরও চমকপ্রদ তথ্য পাওয়া যায়।
হাসপাতালে ভর্তি একাধিক রোগীর সাথে কথা বললে তারা জানান,সব রকমের ঔষধ বাহির থেকে কিনতে হয়।
ছোট মানিকা গ্রামের ডায়রিয়ায় আক্রান্ত হয়ে আসা রোগী আমির হোসেন জানান,রবিবার তারা হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হন।
স্যালাইন জিংক সহ সব ঔষধ তাদেরকে বাইরের থেকে কিনতে হয়েছে।অথচ স্বাস্থ্য কর্মকর্তা ও স্টোরকিপার আব্দুল মান্নান জানান,হাসপাতালে ডায়রিয়ার স্যালাইন ( ৫০০ এমএল ৩০ টি)ও জিংক ঔষধ আছে।
তবে বাইরে থেকে কেন কিনতে বলেছেন এর সদুত্তর দিতে পারেনি কর্তব্যরত নার্স মর্জিনা বেগম।একই রকম অভিযোগ আন্তঃবিভাগে ভর্তি সাদেজা ইয়াসমিনসহ অনেকের। জনমনে প্রশ্ন তাহলে হাসপাতালের বরাদ্দকৃত ঔষধগুলো যাচ্ছে কোথায়?

আবাসিক মেডিকেল অফিসার ( আরএমও) ডাক্তার সাজ্জাদ হোসেন জানান, ৪৮ পাতা সরকারি ঔষধ এভাবে নেওয়া একটি শাস্তিযোগ্য অপরাধ, ৩ সদস্য বিশিষ্ট তদন্ত কমিটি গঠন করা হবে।তাদের রিপোর্ট অনুসারে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হবে।
