শিক্ষার্থীদের স্কুলের বেতন পরিশোধে অভিভাবকদের যেন চাপ দেওয়া না হয় স্কুল-কলেজগুলোকে সেই নির্দেশনা দিয়েছেন শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ডা. দীপু মনি।
তিনি বলেছেন, শিক্ষার্থীদের বেতন নিয়ে অভিভাবকদের যেন চাপ দেওয়া না হয়। করোনার এই সময়ে অনেকের অবস্থার পরিবর্তন হয়েছে।
রোববার সকালে দেড় বছর পর স্কুল খোলার প্রথম দিনে রাজধানীর আজিমপুর গভর্নমেন্ট গার্লস স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজে পরিদর্শনে এসে শিক্ষামন্ত্রী এসব কথা বলেন।
অভিভাবকদের উদ্দেশে তিনি বলেন, অন্যান্য খরচ কমিয়ে আপনার সন্তানদের বেতন আগে পরিশোধ করতে পারেন। বেতনের টাকা কিন্তু খুব বেশি নয়।
এ সময় করোনা পরিস্থিতি ও ডেঙ্গুর প্রকোপ থেকে শিক্ষার্থীদের সুরক্ষায় কোনো ব্যত্যয় বা অনিয়ম পেলে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে বলেও জানান শিক্ষামন্ত্রী।
তিনি বলেন, করোনার সংক্রমণ কময় আমরা শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান খুলে দিয়েছি। এখন শুধু করোনা না ডেঙ্গুরও সিজন চলছে। ডেঙ্গু মশা কামড়ের সময়ই শিক্ষার্থীরা ক্লাসে থাকে। তাই তাদের ফুলহাতা জামা পরে আসার জন্য বলবো। এই সময়টাতে শিক্ষার্থীদের স্কুল ইউনিফর্ম নিয়ে কড়াকড়ি না করাই ভালো। দীর্ঘ সময়ের বন্ধে অনেক শিক্ষার্থী ইউনিফর্ম থেকে বড় হয়ে গেছে।
তিনি অভিভাবকদের সন্তানদের স্কুলে দিয়ে গেটের সামনে ভিড় না করার অনুরোধ জানান এবং স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মানার বিষয়ে অভিভাবকদের সামাজিক তদারকি করার আহ্বান জানান।
