পুঠিয়ার গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে শিশু ইউনিটের উদ্বোধন
পুঠিয়া (রাজশাহী) উপজেলা সংবাদদাতা: পুঠিয়ায় গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে শিশু ইউনিটের উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার দুপুরে শিশু ইউনিটটি চালু করা হয় পুঠিয়া উপজেলা সদরের শ্রমীক ইউনিয়ন ভবনের দ্বিতীয় তালায়। শিশু ইউনিটটি সুনামধন্য শিশু রোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ অধ্যাপক ডাঃ ইমদাদুল হক উদ্বোধন করেন। উদ্বোধন উপলক্ষে এক অনারম্বড় অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন, স্থানীয় গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিবর্গ ও চিকিৎসা নিতে আসা শিশুদের অভিভাবকগণ।
এ উপলক্ষে হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ ফ্রি মেডিকেল ক্যাম্পের আয়োজন করেন। এসময় শিশু রোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ অধ্যাপক ডাঃ ইমাদাদুল হক হাসপাতালে আগত শিশুদের ফ্রি চিকিৎসা দেন। খোঁজনিয়ে জানাগেছে, পুঠিয়া সদরে অবস্থিত গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালের শিশু ইউনিটটি গত ৪ বছর যাবৎ ইনডোর ও আউটডোরের শিশুদের সকল প্রকার চিকিৎসা কার্যক্রম চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। পুঠিয়ার বিশিষ্ট শিশু রোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ অধ্যাপক ডাঃ ইমদাদুল হকের তত্তাবধায়নে সফলভাবে চিকিৎসা কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হচ্ছে বলে হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ জানান। বর্তমানে এ হাসপাতালে গড়ে ১০টি শিশু রোগী ভর্তি হয়ে থাকে। অত্র অঞ্চলের গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালটি শিশুদের চিকিৎসার জন্য একটি আধুনিক ও অত্যন্ত নির্ভরযোগ্য হাসপাতাল হিসেবে ইতিমধ্যেই পরিচিতি লাভ করেছে। গ্রামীণ হাসপালের শিশু রোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ অধ্যাপক ডাঃ ইমাদাদুল হক বলেন, এই হাসপাতালে আমি দিনে দুইবার চিকিৎসা সেবা দিয়ে থাকি। হাসপাতালে ভেন্টিলেশন ছাড়া, বেবী ওয়ারমার্ক মেশিন, ফটোথেরাপী ইউনিক এবং ইনকিউবেটর মেশিনসহ সকল প্রকার শিশুদের চিকিৎসা সেবা দেওয়ার আধুনিক যন্ত্রপাতি রয়েছে। অত্যন্ত অল্প খরচে হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা সেবা দেওয়া হয়। এছাড়াও তিনি বলেন, হাসপাতালের কর্তৃপক্ষ, ডাক্তার, নার্স এবং সকল কর্মচারীগণ দিন রাত নিরলসভাবে শ্রম দিয়ে থাকে। ভবিষ্যতে সকলের সহযোগিতা পেলে হাসপাতলটিকে পূর্ণাঙ্গ শিশু হাসপাতাল হিসেবে গড়ে তুলার কথা জানান এ চিকিৎসক।
